The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. The hilltop hour would not be half so wonderful if there were no dark valleys to traverse. ~ Helen Keller

A Better Place

The movers will be here in a few hours and I will say goodbye to my home of nearly 18 years. Back then it was a sad, gloomy, neglected little old house with potential that no one but me could see. I'm so proud that we are leaving it in a far better state, a home now so shiny and proud that someone fell in love the minute they walked inside.

So long, dear old friend...

  2. Hi, I came here from Mrs. G's blogroll. I really enjoyed reading your blog, and I can so relate with your calling your home a dear old friend. We put so much of ourselves into our homes, that selling them - even when it's a good thing - is very hard. I'll be back, keep writing!
